History of Golax

PART 1: Origination
Golax Industral Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 by our major shareholder Mr. Guangxi SHI. Till that year, his battery factory in Guangzhou (Lixing Battery

Factory) had been running over 10 years. And the products of Lixing had covered the whole Pearl River Delta of China. The main purpose of Golax been founded

is to make Lixing's batteries exportation became true.
Firstly, office of Golax wasd settled in Futian district, Shenzhen. To base our company in Shenzhen is not a coincidence. After 20 years' 'Reform & Open'

developing, Shenzhen has became the truly 'window to the world'.
At that time, Canton Fair was the primary channel for Golax to reveal our protential customers. Till today, it is still important.

PART 2: Gold Age
Around year 2001, it was called the 'Gold Age of Exportation of China'. Shenzhen is the leading city on exportation over the whole country. Golax moved

office to Luohu district of Shenzhen, which is nearer the custom and Hong Kong.
During that time, Golax quickly spreaded its business to Europe, South America, America, Middle East, Africa, etc. Over 30 countries was using our products:

A full range of dry batteries, including AA, AAA, C, D and 9V carbon-zinc batteries, alkaline batteries and rechargeable batteries in all sizes. We also

started the business of supplying materials and machines of batteries for our customers.

PART 3: Transformation
It was year 2007. A number of developing countries other than China were raising their competitiveness in international trading. The same year, the global

demand of dry batteries greatly droped compared to last year. Golax needed to adapt this new situation.
Tissue and jeans was introduced. Golax expanded its products from electronics to household and clothes. Accordingly, second office was adopted.
Golax also began its business through Internet. We attempted to meet our customers via variable ways. Besides the traditional Canton Fair, Golax made itself

accessible over different E-Business platforms, such as Alibaba, Made-In-China, and Global Sources.

PART4: Challenge
Today, we are in the middle of financial turmoil over the globe. It's a predicament, but it's also a challenge. Golax is employing a new '3R' strategy to

face the new environment.

STEP ONE: Resource Re-organization
We moved to a new place combining two departments into one. The new office is even nearer the Shenzhen train/bus station and Hong Kong. It is only 2mins'

away from subway.
A new OA (Office Automation) system is also enabled to improve the efficiency in the company.

STEP TWO: Image Renewal
To keep pace with the internationalized development, we renamed ourselves as Golax Industrial Co., Ltd (Shenzhen) instead of Shenzhen Guangxi Industrial Co.,

Ltd. Golax makes the writing shorter and the pronunciation easier. A new Logo is been designed according to the new name. A new website is under construction

also.

STEP THREE: Banking Registration
The name and address of beneficiary of our bank information are changed as well. Till now, Golax has opened two more branch companies in HK and UK for

banking services.
